2. Host and track your live video meetings in one place with the Google Meet integration
If you’re one of the 300 million regular Google Meet users, this update is for you! Now you can easily host online meetings, conferences, and training sessions via Google Meet and access relevant event analytics right in iSpring Learn.
Working with video conferences is easier than ever — you can manage everything from a single browser tab — no need to switch between Google Meet and the LMS. This saves you valuable time and helps you stay focused on what matters most: delivering engaging and effective training sessions.
To enable the integration, go to Services, select the Online Meetings tab, find Google Meet, and click Turn On.
3. Locate and retrieve relevant information instantly with advanced search in the Knowledge Base
Say goodbye to wasting time searching through folders and skimming articles to find specific assets or information. With the smart keyword search in the Knowledge Base, you can instantly access the exact training resources or guidelines you need. The algorithm quickly finds matches in titles, descriptions, and article text.
You can search the entire Knowledge Base or narrow your search to specific spaces or folders.
Just type what you want to find in the search bar or click Search on the left sidebar menu.
To expand your search to all spaces and folders, switch to Search everywhere.
This update is especially useful for employees and managers who handle large volumes of information, allowing them to quickly locate the resources they need without the hassle of browsing through countless materials. For example, a support agent can type a customer’s question into the search bar, find relevant guidance, and respond immediately.
4. Make important details stand out in your Knowledge Base articles with advanced formatting options
Now you can take advantage of all the text formatting features available in iSpring Learn’s scrollable courses directly in the Knowledge Base. This includes fonts, font sizes, colors, and other capabilities. These will help you:
- Highlight important information
- Enhance readability
- Organize content for better flow
- Create visually engaging materials to keep readers interested
Experiment with font sizes to emphasize key points or use contrasting colors to improve clarity.
5. Deliver structured training pathways to your teams by adding learning tracks to the Course Catalog
Previously, Course Authors could only add individual courses to the Course Catalog. Now they can upload entire learning tracks, breaking down complex topics into manageable segments to set the pace for employee training.
The Administrator, Account Owner, Department Administrator, or any user with permission to view and enroll users in training programs can add learning tracks to Catalog.
Employees can easily find relevant courses in the Catalog and self-enroll in available learning paths across various categories. Managers can also recommend specific learning tracks to their team members through the My Team section.
Simply click on Recommend course/training to an employee or a team.
6. Add variety to your tables with multimedia content
Say goodbye to plain text in tables — you can now enhance tables in your scrollable courses with various types of media, including:
- Images
- Audio and video
- Lists
- Code snippets
Choose the media asset from the dropdown menu and add it to your table.
This update allows you to enhance your tables to make your page-like courses more informative and engaging. Also, you can present information in a more dynamic way, making it easier for trainees to absorb and retain key content for better knowledge recall.
Media assets also make it easier to format tables to align with your brand style, ensuring a consistent, polished look across all your training materials.
Your tables will look more engaging and informative when enriched with media assets.
7. Add audio directly to course pages without embeds or snippets
Take your language courses or conversational skills training to the next level with audio. You can now add audio files directly into the course — no need for complex embeds or snippets.
You can add any type of audio to your courses, from voice recordings and music tracks to podcasts.
- Maximum file size: 250 MB
- Supported audio file types: MP3, WAV
The audio track will appear on the course page.
Trainees can easily play the audio right on the course page, pause it, and adjust the playback speed or volume to match their learning pace. They can also jump to specific moments in the audio to revisit key points or focus on areas that need extra attention.
Click on + and select Audio. Next, choose a file and click Open to upload it to the course page.
