Five New Enhancements in iSpring Learn [February 2025 Update]

Small changes can make a big difference! That’s why we’re always refining our LMS, iSpring Learn, to remove roadblocks, improve accessibility, and help you focus on what matters most — learning and development.
This month, we’re rolling out several enhancements to save you time and streamline your workflow. Check out what’s new:
- Instant document preview in the Knowledge Base
- On-the-job training data via API
- Enhanced image markup in Pages
- Table improvements

1. Instant Document Preview in the Knowledge Base
Previously, if you wanted to view a document in the Knowledge Base, you had to download it first — even if you only needed a quick glance. Now, you can open and view documents instantly, right inside iSpring Learn. What this means for you:
- Quick access to information. Skim policies, guidelines, or instructions right in the LMS. Find the information you need faster and stay focused on your tasks.
- Less storage clutter. No more unnecessary files piling up on your device. Download only what you need to keep your storage clean and organized.
2. On-the-Job Training Data via API
Now, you can export on-the-job training data via API and bring it into Power BI or any other analytics tool to customize and visualize reports however you need.
Analyze training performance with advanced reporting in your preferred analytics platform and combine iSpring Learn data with other business metrics for a complete picture.
3. Enhanced Image Markup in Pages
Images and screenshots are the essential components of guidelines and instructions. Before, you could only crop them in the LMS. Now, you can add text, rectangles, and arrows!
The update is available in Pages, News, Quizzes, and the Knowledge Base, allowing you to:
- Develop instructions faster. No more switching between tools just to edit an image — mark them up directly in iSpring Learn, saving time and effort.
- Create more informative guides. Highlight important fragments with text notes, arrows, and shapes to make instructions clearer and more engaging for learners.

4. Table Improvements
Give your tables a professional look — merge cells, freeze the first row, or highlight it to create a table header. Voilà! Now your tables are more structured, polished, and easier to analyze:
With this update, you’ve got better table navigation: it’s easy to keep important information visible while scrolling, because a table header stays in place, so you don’t lose track of what each column means. Plus, it eliminates unnecessary repetition and makes tables easier to read at a glance.

5. Tags in the Knowledge Base
In the iSpring Learn Knowledge Base, content is well-organized with spaces and folders. Plus, learners can quickly find relevant instructions through the search bar. Now, navigation is even easier because we’ve added tags!
Tags help categorize large amounts of content efficiently. For example, product managers can tag new supplies, making it easier for employees to find what they need. Different background colors make tags easy to spot.
