Alexandria, VA. — September 9, 2024. iSpring, a leading US-based eLearning software vendor and solutions provider for corporate learning announces the release of the iSpring Suite 11.8 update. This new version brings long-anticipated new features that enhance iSpring Suite’s ability to integrate with various existing customer EdTech materials and infrastructures. This new release features a fully functional plugin for Moodle, support for PowerPoint Morph transition and complete customization of visuals in QuizMaker.
iSpring Suite is a comprehensive authoring tool that enables users to craft eLearning courses of any complexity and for any audience using a wide range of learning materials and content. With iSpring Suite, you can create professional-looking courses in only a few simple steps requiring neither an IT background nor specific skill sets. iSpring Suite Max comes with a built-in content library of assets, templates and content that gets expanded constantly. It also has extensive integration capabilities, that allow you to smoothly build iSpring into your existing corporate educational ecosystem, use previously created educational materials, and connect existing solutions that you use in a single powerful eLearning infrastructure.
“Many of our customers have already been using something for corporate education, for instance, PowerPoint is one of the most popular tools. Our goal is to help customers create the best possible eLearning solutions that suit their exact needs, to make iSpring the basis of such a solution. That is why we strive to make the transition to iSpring Suite smooth and eliminate the learning curve as much as possible by adding support of familiar tools. We want to help our customers ease into iSpring and make it into a true eLearning powerhouse.”
Michael Keller, Chief Product Officer at iSpring Solutions
Some of the most outstanding new features in iSpring Suite 11.8 include:
Support for PowerPoint Morph Transition
The Morph transition in PowerPoint is one of the most popular ones. It allows users to animate objects in presentations and create smooth, captivating transitions between slides, which increases audience engagement. Starting with version 11.8, it is now possible to fully keep these effects when porting presentations to iSpring Suite and publishing courses in SCORM format. Now all animated transitions, customized transparency, and object layouts are displayed correctly when the course is published.
Support for Morph transitions allows you to make your iSpring courses more professional-looking and visually aesthetic without investing in additional editing software. It also does not require any skill or training.
Enhanced Hover Options for Elements and Objects
To make course material more engaging and to better prompt learners to carry out certain actions, we have introduced the enhanced mouse hover functionality. Now if this option is enabled, when you hover the mouse over or click on an interactive object in course materials, it becomes visually highlighted. We have also corrected the issue that prevented hover effects from being displayed correctly after course publication.
New Test Player Enhancements and Themes
We have also introduced improved element editing in QuizMaker. Now, it is possible to customize various slide elements, making this a very useful feature if you want to introduce branding to your tests. Or, if you just want to create visually pleasing test materials but don’t have sufficient designer skills, you can select from a variety of new QuizMaker themes and pick a design that perfectly matches your task.
A Dedicated Plugin for Moodle™
Moodle™ is a customer-favorite tool that many of our customers know and use. It supports the SCORM format, but the report files may prove hard to display and are not reader-friendly. The new free Moodle plugin allows you to create a very smooth integration between iSpring Suite and Moodle. Now it is possible to load courses and quizzes from iSpring Suite to Moodle™ and make course materials repeatable. The plugin also allows users to display accumulated reports about all quiz attempts or students, show quiz attempt details for particular students in a comprehensive, easy-to-read report. Additionally, you can also update materials without resolving statistics to default values.About iSpring Solutions
