iSpring desktop products are available through flexible, convenient, and affordable licenses to help you maximize the value of your IT investment. Different iSpring products fall under different licensing models. Product licensing programs and terms are described in the following sections.

Perpetual License

A perpetual license allows you to purchase iSpring software on a onetime basis and then use a copy of the software forever.

The perpetual license normally applies to a specific version of an iSpring software product. It normally does not include subsequent upgrades, fixes, or enhancements, although iSpring may offer you these items for a period of one year for an additional fee. iSpring has moved away from the perpetual license model in favor of Subscription-Based Licensing. Subscription-Based License

A subscription license is one in which you obtain a license to iSpring software on a recurring basis for a defined period. iSpring offers annual subscriptions for its software products. Your subscription plan for an iSpring software product will automatically renew until you cancel said renewal. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your iSpring Account or by calling iSpring at 1 800 640 0868.

Subscriptions typically have no defined end or termination date and automatically renew after the initial term.

Concurrent License

A Сoncurrent License allows you to define a specific number of users who can access iSpring software products simultaneously.

Once the maximum number of concurrent users is reached, no more users can access the license. You can increase the number of allowed concurrent users by paying an additional fee to iSpring.

Volume License

The Volume License makes it affordable and easy to run iSpring software on multiple computers within a single purchasing company.

If you plan to use iSpring software on more than one computer within a company, we will provide you with a Registration Name and a License Key that is valid for the specific number of installations indicated in the license.

Every member of a Volume License user group may install and register a copy of iSpring software on only one PC. In this case, please note that:

  1. Each copy of the specified iSpring software should be used by one person only.
  2. Computers with iSpring software installed should be owned by or under the control of the license holder.

Business License

A Business License is available for iSpring software for use in any profession or business, whether it is retail, home-based, internet, or e-commerce. The one-time license fee lets you use your iSpring product copy for as long as you want without any additional or ongoing fees.

A Business License entitles you to use iSpring software only on one PC. In this case, please note that:

  1. iSpring copy should be used by one person only.
  2. The computer should be owned or be under control of the license holder.

Academic License

An Academic License makes the unique PowerPoint to Flash conversion capabilities of iSpring software available for educational purposes. Under the Academic License the software can be used for education purposes and non-profit scientific research only. All administrative or commercial use is prohibited.

Academic License Qualifications

Customers meeting the criteria below are eligible to acquire an iSpring Academic License:

  • Educational Institutions
  • K-12 and Higher Education Students
  • Teachers, Faculty and Staff Members

An Educational Institution is an accredited academic institution organized and operated exclusively for the purpose of teaching its enrolled students ("Educational Institutions"). An accredited institution must be:

  1. A public or private K-12 school, college, university, correspondence school, vocational training center or adult education center, junior college, or scientific or technical school that is either institutionally accredited by their local authorities.
    OR
  2. A preschool meeting all of the following criteria: (i) is an early childhood program with the purpose of providing educational services to children between two and five years of age which serves a minimum of ten such children; and (ii) has been in operation for at least one year.

K-12 and Higher Education Students are current full or part time enrolled students of Educational Institutions.

Teachers, Faculty and Staff Members are current full or part time employed faculty or staff members of Educational Institutions.

An Academic License entitles you to use iSpring software only on one PC. In this case, please, note that:

  1. iSpring copy should be used by one person only.
  2. The computer should be owned or be under control of the license holder.

Freelance Use License

You may use iSpring software under a Freelance Use License solely for personal commercial professional activities if you are a freelancer, individual entrepreneur, or self-employed individual.

You can purchase a Freelance Use License for a period of one subscription term without proof of your freelancer status. iSpring may ask you for documented proof of your status as a freelancer at any time during a subscription term.

iSpring SDK Licensing

iSpring SDK allows you to enhance your application with iSpring PowerPoint-to-HTML5 technology and enables your users to run PowerPoint presentations within your solution (using the functionality of the PowerPoint-to-HTML5 technology that you have contracted with iSpring). iSpring SDK components are licensed under specific models, depending on your business requirements.
