iSpring Suite Compatibility with the open source CourseSites LMS
Verified compatibility
The compliance of this LMS with iSpring-generated courses has been tested and proven by iSpring engineers.
iSpring Suite fully supports the most popular LMS content standards: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, xAPI (Tin Can), and cmi5. We thoroughly tested which of these standards are supported by CourseSites LMS. Please find below a summary of how CourseSites LMS works with iSpring content.
CourseSites is a free, online hosted LMS that empowers individual K–12 teachers, college and university instructors and community educators to add a web–based component to their courses, or even host an entire course on the Internet. The account URL can be customized so that students can easily find their community.
CourseSites is powered by the latest and greatest technology from Blackboard, including Blackboard Learn™, Release 9.1, Blackboard Collaborate™, Blackboard Mobile™, and Blackboard Connect™.
CourseSites is designed to create comprehensive and smart looking courses, which can be based on web-documents, SCORM packages and media resources. Apart from the course creation option, CourseSites attracts educational institutions and e-Learning specialists with a full-power grade center that is available for free.
Blackboard will be transitioning all CourseSites users to a new platform in the spring of 2018 that will provide users with an even more efficient and engaging experience. There are no major action items at this point, but in the interim Bb does encourage you to keep your CourseSites courses up-to-date and have an updated export ready to go. While logged in as a CourseSites instructor, users can export course(s) and save the .zip package on a local machine to ensure they always have a backup ready to go.
